Taber Lacie Photo
Based in West BendCONTACT ME
I started in the wedding industry as an assistant photographer when I was just 16 and instantly fell in love. From the intimate love-soaked moments to the crazy and hilarious dance moves at the reception, everything about it called out to my soul.
I think having that kind of passion for weddings is not only important, but necessary. If your photographer is just as excited for your day as you are, you know they're going to treat your wedding as if it were their own, which is exactly what I do. I go all in to get the best shots, constantly looking around for perfect candids, planning epic shots out days or weeks before the big day, and finding inspiration on the day of to come up with new and fun ideas for poses that match my couple's personalities. I want my couples to look back on their photos and not just see memories, but feel the love, happiness and energy in them, which is why I always give every wedding day my all.
I'm located in West Bend, Wisconsin, but I'll travel anywhere for a wedding! I don't charge a travel fee for all of Wisconsin and northern Illinois. All other areas will include travel fees depending on how far away your wedding is.
I've been in business since 2011, and prior to that I started as a wedding photography assistant in 2006. If I had to put a number on how many weddings, it's definitely in the hundreds.
Editing-wise, I like to stay somewhat true to life with a boost in color. Shooting-wise, I love all aspects of photography and incorporate many of them with each wedding I shoot. Lots of photojournalism, posed photos, planned fine art, prompts to bring out all the personality, flash, as well as various little tricks I've learned over the years!
Full day coverage, a complimentary engagement session, printing rights to your photos, same day edits [and more!] start at $3000. Fill out the contact form on my website to receive all the details on what I have to offer, I'd love to hear from you!
I have an in-home office, but I also love meeting with my clients over coffee. If neither of those work, Skype or Zoom are great for meeting too!
I make it a point to invest in education at least once a year. My most recent class was in Texas for a fantastic creative lighting workshop!
