As a storyteller, I photograph unobtrusively so you can relax and enjoy every moment of your wedding, all while looking like total rock stars! When it's time for portraits I love to create supernatural art that will look awesome on the wall, and timeless portraits that will make your family happy. After photographing thousands of people throughout my twelve years as a wedding photographer, I've developed some awesome little secrets for helping you and your guests relax, be yourselves and have fun!

I also love a good celebration and I'm the person you want on the dance floor when it's erupting! My motto - You do the celebrating and leave the rest to me!

I'm also proud that my style and technique have been sought out around the globe by other professionals and to date more than 1,000 photographers have attended one my classes to learn new creative techniques.

Photography is my calling. I am infinitely curious about relationships, and my camera is the literal and metaphorical lens with which I learn about you and the people you love.

Personally, photography helps me remember how it feels to hold my husband. To feel the pride on my dad’s crinkled cheeks when he sees me. Photography has taught me to see how people love, to celebrate the complexity of human relationships, and to savour the power of feeling your memories.

I have photographed weddings throughout North America over the past decade, but I primarily focus on my beautiful backyard of British Columbia.

I'm drawn to human relationships and being able to document events that tell us a little bit about ourselves. Weddings are such an ideal time and place to really capture what it means to be human and to have relationships with one another - to be in love . The realness of it and also the rawness of it. To me, it doesn't matter how beautiful your location is or how elaborate your decor - because at the end of the day, the important stuff - the authenticity of who you are and your relationship with each other is what matters the most.

When photographing your wedding I want to take images that capture connections and the story of your day as it unfolds. My goal is not to pose you all day and not to shoot for my portfolio and instead capture who you are as a couple and what makes you unique, your relationship with each other and the relationship with all your guests. I want you to remember the day and how it felt and I'll take images that document that - the big ones and the small ones between that make your wedding day meaningful to you and your fiancé.

Will and Lauren are located in Vancouver, BC, and have professionally photographed 200+ weddings together. We take a photo journalistic approach to our photography by candidly documenting your story and letting events naturally unfold throughout your day. We also guide you through the posed photos to make you feel as comfortable as possible and look your best.

Professional lighting helps us create photos that are unique, and allows us the flexibility and confidence to capture your important moments in any type of venue or weather.

Our styles are very complimentary to each other. While one of us is getting a risky, creative photo of the events, the other will be in a more traditional angle to make sure the important moments are captured.

Our clients have described our style as being "different" in the wedding industry, and over the years we have really embraced that word and try to live up to it with every wedding and photo shoot.

We love the mountains, forests and ocean/lakes, so while we are not working, we spend most of our time skiing, biking, hiking or surfing.

I am a heart-centered, eco-conscious, creative documentary photographer based out of Vancouver, BC, and I photograph weddings and stories about love all around the world.

I believe in the divine power of love. I believe that love transforms the human spirit. Love has the power to transform anger into compassion, hurt into forgiveness, suffering into peace, longing into gratitude, and loneliness into companionship. If there is one thing worth celebrating in life, it is without a doubt, love.

When I am not documenting love I teach yoga and meditation to marginalized communities and spend time in my vegetable garden.

It all begun in Slovenia and my dad, photographer. That’s where my fascination with light was born.
I moved to Canada in 2015 with my husband also a photographer. As a kid I always dreamed about new and exciting ways to see the world through our cameras. Weddings around the globe is just one of them. While I've been exploring Canada in the last 4 years, and photographed in some of the most spectacular places, I always love to go back and document someone's special day in beautiful Slovenia and Croatia.

I love to travel, see new places and countries I haven't been yet, and especially meet new people. You.

In the past 4 years I have been photographing weddings in Canadian picturesque locations in Vancouver, Banff, Moraine Lake, Canmore, Calgary, etc.

I always do my best that my work breathes with emotions, dreams and a lot of Love. I try to capture the valuable memories, which can't never fade and become something for everyone to forever treasure.

A little about us:

We met 16 years ago, at age 19 and 15 in our hometown of Samuel in France, it was 16 years ago. Discovering a joint passion for photography, we spent our weekends hiking into the forest in search of the best shooting locations, we fell in love with nature, photography and each other. We love to meet new people, eat pastries, travel and explore the outdoors with our dog "Matari" (who is always keen to help). Sam is an excellent cook and former pastry chef, while Virginie is a vegetarian but with an adoration for dark chocolate. Beginning photography at age 12 for Virginie (inspired by film images of Marilyn Monroe, in the days before digital existed) and age 19 for Sam when we met, 6 years ago we 'took the jump' and became full time photographers, now every day our lives are full of love, laughter, art and wonderful people - we wouldn't have it any other way!

Together, we are passionate about documenting a moment that highlights and captures your emotion for eternity. Whether it be a momentary laugh, a spontaneous tear rolling down the cheek of the father of the bride, the first look of husband seeing his new wife, the ultimate bliss of love on your honeymoon, your true inner self on a boudoir shoot, or even you and your partner caught up in the love of the moment on a couple's boudoir shoot; we take our time to get the perfect, real image of you. We then add more magic with precise and careful editing work so that you can keep that perfect moment, forever.

We love to meet new people and pride ourselves upon building a relationship with you to guide you through this journey and will help you all along the way, so we can capture the real you. We can guide you to feel comfortable in front of the camera and take time to understand who you truly are before the photoshoot, this allows you to have fun and be relaxed around us, so we can also capture the spontaneous moments that occur throughout the day.

We love to shoot at remote locations and are happy to show you some of our 'hidden gems' in the wild, we believe being in contact with nature makes for an amazing photoshoot and adds to the beauty of the overall image, we want to create something you can be proud of for years to come.

Working together helps us to constantly improve our style and allows us to capture two different perspectives throughout your photo journey. We are constantly motivated to do the best we can for our clients and so always get incredible and unique results.

We've lived all over the world, moving from France to New Zealand 6 years ago. We then moved to the Tahitian islands 4 years ago and recently to Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. This year we are also in USA on several occasions to cover wedding and commercial headshoots : California, Oregon, Nevada, Utah and soon Florida. We love to travel and are happy to come to you, wherever in the world you need us. We already have some tour dates and can add more anytime for your event.
