In some traditions, the wedding ring is worn on the right hand rather than the left. Here, the photographer shot upward from a low angle to capture the groom slipping a band onto the bride's outstretched hand. Using a wide-angle lens distorted the perspective in an interesting way—and the use of lens flare (from the setting sun streaming through her fingers) gives the whole scene a pleasing softness.
