My career began over a decade ago as a birth and family photographer in Tucson, AZ. A few years later, I applied for Click Pro and was accepted. I also began volunteering throughout the city with various organizations, including Red Thread Sessions and the International Rescue Committee. I fell in love with photojournalism and documentary work through those experiences. At the same time, I was working on personal photo essays and projects like Kids Were Here, 10 on 10, and a 365 project.
Later, we moved to Europe, where I continued volunteering my time with refugees. I was fortunate enough to collaborate with Their Story is Our Story (TSOS) in Germany and France.
My work has been published in The Desert Leaf, various online publications, and awarded accolades in the Voice photo competition. I still continue to experiment with photojournalism and am currently working on a photo essay about raising two sets of twins. If you'd like to collaborate with me on a project, please reach out.
