Why settle for an eye-level view of the dance floor? This photographer got low and shot up toward the ceiling to capture the bride's spinning legs. Her flared-out skirt, lit from behind, pops out from the dark background and obscures all but the groom's feet at the very bottom of the frame. An unusual perspective like this can be challenging to shoot—and challenging, as a viewer, to parse—but for both the photographer and the observer, it is well worth the effort.
