My favorite things are red lipstick, the first sip of coffee in the morning, rainy days, and irony. Also, taking pictures.
I shoot in an editorial style, which means that I control the location and surroundings of your session, but don't tell you what to do. The results are images that are beautifully composed and with gorgeous lighting - but with real, candid, human interaction. In practical terms, I will suggest that you stand in a certain area to put on your gown, but I won't interfere with the moment while your mother laughs and cries while struggling with a million buttons.
When I'm not shooting weddings, you can probably find me practicing some sort of stringed instrument with my husband of 11 years. There is likely a friendly orange cat curled up at my feet (or on the couch, because who are we kidding here?). We have two children - a strong-willed, pig-tailed, five-year-old daughter and a rock-music-loving, National Geographic-reading ten-year-old son.

How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?

I photographed my first wedding in 2008. Since then, I've shot over 200 weddings.

Describe your "style" of wedding photography.

I shoot in an editorial style, meaning that I control the general location and surroundings (when I can), but I don't actually tell you what to do. The results are images that are beautifully lit and composed, but with real, candid, genuine interaction.

What's the typical wedding coverage package that you offer? What is the price?

All of our weekend collections feature all-day coverage and two photographers. My job is to tell your story in images, and that's not usually possible in only 6-7 hours - so I'm with you all day.

Do you have a studio where we can meet? Do you use Skype?

We have a gorgeous studio in the heart of downtown Pensacola - we can do lots of things here, like meet with clients, drink wine, shoot head shots and boudoir, and edit photos.

What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?

I graduated from Yale with a degree in literature - so I suppose I am a photographer with a great vocabulary.

Is there anything else you'd like to share about yourself?

I like dangly earrings, red lipstick, golden retrievers, and irony. And pictures.
