Originally a painter, she concentrated solely on photography while attending college at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. Kristin's photography reflects her past work as a painter; producing tactile imagery that is rich and lush and uses multiple layers to create depth. Prior to founding Photomuse, she focused on photojournalism and documentary photography while working at Magnum Photos and subsequently as the studio manager for renowned photographers Elliott Erwitt and Ed Kashi.
Kristin's wedding photography has been featured in the book "Wedding Photography - A Guide to Posing." Her wedding work, as well as her personal work, has been featured on blogs nationally and internationally as well as published in print and exhibited in galleries.
