Christin Photography was founded by Christin Boggs Peyper, an international fine art photographer with over 18 years of experience in the field. Virginia based, travel ready!

Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?

I am an American photographer based in Virginia. I am available for travel, with travel fees added on to the base wedding photography packages.

How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?

I have been a photographer for over 18 years! I’ve worn many different hats over that time, from student to university lecturer, fine artist to portrait photographer, and many more! I fell in love with photography through darkroom classes in high school. My teacher made me promise her that I’d never stop taking photos, and I intend to uphold that promise!

What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?

I hold a Bachelor of Fine Art degree in Photography from George Mason University, as well as a Master of Fine Art degree in Photography from Rochester Institute of Technology. From 2013 - 2014, I was a U.S. Student Fulbright Fellow to Helsinki Finland, through which I created a Fine Art Photography project.

Is there anything else you'd like to share about yourself?

I call myself an Eco-conscious Fine Art Photographer. I use the label “Eco-conscious” to describe my commitment to leaving the smallest footprint possible. In my personal life, I live this out through my consumer habits, by growing some of my own food, supporting local, “beyond organic” farmers and fair trade businesses whenever possible, as well as purchasing natural home and self-care products, and using up the resources I have on hand before making additional purchases. Learn more about my eco-conscious habits at my website.
