I don't believe that our lives are made of perfectly posed, impeccably framed and always crisp and sharp moments, so I capture the personalities in and the dramatics of the moment through an artful, quiet and beautifully unpolished approach. I work with you to create your first heirlooms, though I provide you with more than art, I provide you with an experience.

Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?

I am located just outside of Raleigh, NC, however, I do travel for some of my work. I do not charge travel fees for destinations within 2 hours driving distance of Raleigh, however, beyond that overnight arrangements or flight costs are paid by the client.

How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?

I have been in business now for just over 5 years and have shot just over 50 weddings as the main photographer.

Describe your "style" of wedding photography.

My style rides the boundary between fashion forward portraiture where we find dramatic light and composition and then also candid documentary styled coverage with my own bit of artistic captures. However, I never pull my clients from moments of their day as I try to be as non-invasive as possible while still doing the best work that my clients have hired and trusted me to do.

What's the typical wedding coverage package that you offer? What is the price?

Most couples book me a my middle tier pricing, which is $6000 and offers and engagement or bridal session, two photographers, 8 hours of coverage, all final digital photos and a fine art print.

Do you have a studio where we can meet? Do you use Skype?

I do not have a brick and mortar studio, but I am happy to meet clients out for a meal, a drink, over the phone or via Skype.

What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?

I am part of WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) as well as Fearless Photographers. As for workshops and education, every year I dedicate a week to education and networking at WPPI's yearly event as well as an additional workshop or two during the remainder of the year. Every year I strive to be better than the last, not just in the products I provide to my couples but in my approach and my image quality.
