I grew up in southeastern Connecticut, and studied photojournalism and sociology at RIT. I started photographing weddings my sophomore year at college. It was immediately apparent how similar shooting a wedding was to the way I learned to create stories in class. I was looking for the same moments and emotions.

At weddings, as in my personal work, I work hard to blend in and work unobtrusively. I often get mistaken for a wedding guest, and to me that's success. Guests aren't distractions from the day's events, but they are also in the center of the action-from where it is easiest to make intimate photos.

Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?

Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts are where most of my weddings are. But I will work anywhere!

How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?

6 years and over 50 weddings

Describe your "style" of wedding photography.

Documentary and photojournalism

What's the typical wedding coverage package that you offer? What is the price?

I photograph without hourly limits - if I do a wedding I prefer to be there for the whole day. I also include two photographers in my regular package. My regular package is $2300, and you receive full resolution edited image files which you are welcome to print, send to family, or upload to social media.

Do you have a studio where we can meet? Do you use Skype?

I like to meet if it's geographically possible, but am also easily reached by Skype/video calls, phone, and text messaging.

What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?

I have a bachelors in fine art for Photojournalism and a minor in sociology from Rochester Institute of Technology
