While I love working as a photographer, it is my mission to change the negative perceptions of wedding photography to an aspect to look forward to within your wedding day!
My objective is to take away any apprehension and replace it with anticipation to see the finished images. I do this by using vivid colors, energetic compositions, being there for just the right *emotional* moments, and by showing the couple looking amazing in every image I deliver.
Going into ten years of photography has lead me share incredible experiences with my clients: being stuck overnight rock climbing in Colorado with a wedding party, wedding sessions near the U.S. Captiol Building, visiting China for a wedding, and recently photographing performance headliners and high-end galas in the DC area over the past few years. All that to say: I love catching the vision of what a couple has for their day and producing high-quality work that capture their event perfectly.
Taking risks by reinterpreting wedding photography has been inherent in my work, and being a part of Fearless only pushes me further to take bigger risks as a photographer. Safe photography rarely produces amazing work. I am always being pushed to hunt for new and exciting ideas, especially through being a part of this amazing community.
Located right outside of Washington, D.C., I have photographed weddings far away from home, including California, Colorado, Greece, and China.
I've been photographing weddings for ten years strong, and estimate that I've photographed over three hundred as the main photographer.
Modern, vivid, and photojournalistic. I pull inspiration from both classic poses and spur-of-the-moment ideas.
Most of my wedding clients opt for 8-10 hours of coverage with me and an associate photographer, and end up with 700 images on an archival USB drive, a 10x10 album, and a portfolio of prints. This package is -4500 with this options.
Skype me! Or let's find a good spot to meet up in the DC area for drinks.
