Wedding photojournalism is the art of telling the story of your day organically through authentic moments. My work is a mix of photojournalism and fine art/editorial work - I strive to BOTH stay in the background capturing the story of your wedding as it unfolds naturally and gently direct you through part of the day to take advantage of beautiful light and scenery Vermont and New England has to offer. Your images will reflect authentic moments between the people you love; moments that spark memories of real people, real feelings, and the real you. Your children will treasure these images above all others, because they'll be holding a piece of family history in their hands, and connect with the people who made them who they are.
I can't wait to document the story of your love.

Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?

I'm based out of the Burlington, Vermont area! No travel fee, but I may ask for a hotel room!

How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?

This is my 5th year owning my own biz! I started out as a second photographer for a local photographer and after photographing almost 20 weddings with her, I loved it so much I decided to launch my own business.

Describe your "style" of wedding photography.

I'm drawn to the fun moments, the silly moments, the emotive moments. The ones that connect us as human beings. Whether it's destination wedding photography, or a local Vermont venue - I'll photograph the realness, the beauty and the candid honesty of it. Weddings go by SO quickly, and all you have left at the end of the day are your images and memories. Let me be the one to capture those for you.

What's the typical wedding coverage package that you offer? What is the price?

My most popular package is 8 hours of coverage, and it starts at $7450.

Do you have a studio where we can meet? Do you use Skype?

FaceTime, Skype, Zoom - whatever works!

What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?

I have a Bachelor's in Political Science -- I originally planned to be a journalist, but turned out to be a photojournalist instead ;). Yes, I take at least one photography course online a year for fun and to challenge myself!
