This one man photography business is devoted to laughter, love, and finding the little moments that make life interesting. A wedding day is about community, family, and friends. I will be present with you and your people. I am a finder, a fixer, a maker always striving to improve my craft and make and capture fun, memorable moments with artistry and style. Besides for being a photographer, I am a dad, a husband, teacher, dog and chicken wrangler, wood carver, beekeeper, bread maker, mushroom hunter, and general adventurer.
Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?
I am based in Oakland, and charge a modest fee for weddings outside the area.
How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?
I shot my first wedding for pay in 2002, and went full time with photography around 2007.
Describe your "style" of wedding photography.
Stylistically, I tend toward the journalistic, documentary, and editorial.
What's the typical wedding coverage package that you offer? What is the price?
I like to keep things simple, and basically have just one wedding offering. 6-10 hours of coverage for $4,500.
Do you have a studio where we can meet? Do you use Skype?
I meet people locally at a coffee shop or beer garden if you prefer. If you live out of the area, we can skype, facetime, google hangout, or just chat on the phone.
