When I came to Paris, i discovered film photography and definitely fell in love with the material you can obtain from this equipment. It emphasizes the natural light, the colour and the texture, bringing the photos to a level that can't be matched otherwise. I get always excited to meet people who have great expectations from the result i will bring them. I like the balanced relation that needs to be reached between a very intimate encounter and at the same time keeping a professional reassuring behaviour. I love the process of preparing the shooting, understanding the needs and expectations, and giving advice. And of course, i'm in ecstasy when the shooting itself finally starts.
I'm based in Paris, France. When outside Paris, the travel expenses are "to be discussed", depending on the final destination.
I've started photography in 2011, at the age of 17, first in the fashion industry.
I've moved to wedding photography in 2016, and since then i've covered around 10 weddings.
My style is classic wedding shooting. I work with natural light and favor bright and pastel colors.
To achieve this result, I use a mid format film camera, the contax 645. This 15 years old model allows to highlight the textures and the contrasts, with little post production effects, so the photos stay realistic and at the same has this special timeless touch.
I also work with a digital camera, the Canon 5D mark IV, so that I can be sure to catch all the action happening.
All my packages include : meeting before the wedding, a second assistant photographer, an online gallery and a limited number of printed photos.
My first package starts at €1 200 for 6 hours.
I usually do the meetings in a quiet café in Paris. Otherwise, we can reach each others through skype.
I went to the university of interior design in Russia. While there, I focused mostly on subjects about compostion, colors mix / balance and drawing. All this has helped me a lot to create my own artistic style in photography.
I keep learning by attending workshops one or two times a year.
